Ultimately, what resonates most about Trish is not merely her story arc but rather what she represents: an ongoing struggle for acceptance—not just from others but importantly from oneself too.
Sometimes the simplest of stories end up being some of the best. I don’t know what it was about this one but once I started I couldn’t put it down. And now today I put full blame on Trish for my sleep deprivation. I had true laugh out loud moments and then there were others of reflection. This story is relatable to many of us, if not as a whole then definitely in parts. The characters were all great and had their part. I loved how Trish was able to weave their own stories in with Joe and Georgia’s without it seeming forced. It just reinforced how important all the characters were to each other’s lives. The banter between all of them and even the hard conversations were on point. I felt like I was sitting down and having a conversation with my own friends. They are definitely not ones I will easily forget. I’m here for every book Trish has after reading this one. Now the question is, what do I read next?
