Even the front page would have been clearly discernible as a bunch of nude bodies by my coworkers. Despite WNBR not being about sex, most companies’ anti-harassment policies don’t recognize that distinction. At least making the front page SFW would be helpful, and would not be difficult to do.
The WNBR dress code is ‘as bare as you dare‘ although footwear is obligatory for safety reasons. I don’t have a problem with nudity, but am aware when photographing this event that many publications would not use more revealing images, and try and ensure that at least some pictures have strategically placed handlebars or other objects. But my pictures of the WNBR from earlier years did get complaints from some American educators who blocked my site from their students. And on the front page for June 2019 I includeD the warning “These pictures involve nudity. Please do not click on the link if you may be offended or if you are in a place where others may be offended.”
London’s World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) will see nude cyclists cycle along the South Bank, and through Central London, this weekend.

As always, we had a good mix of locals and out-of-town folks. Many came from the Milwaukee area, Chicago, Minneapolis, Quad Cities, as well as other parts of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. We suspect there may have been some from Indiana, Ohio, and other . We were thrilled to welcome the Kansas couple who we met last year, although slightly disappointed they traveled by more conventional means this time than their own Cessna:) We know we had at least one visitor from Florida, an enthusiastic rider who recently completed a several-years tenure as a regional officer in the American Association for Nude Recreation. He tells us he wants to use us as an example for inspiration to organize a WNBR at home. We know there have been some attempts in Florida that didn’t work out, so we wish him the best of luck.
