Press your thumb and finger together until the milk begins to flow
Gently press, release and repeat until your milk starts to flow. This may take a few minutes.
Then press the thumb and forefinger toward each other to compress the ducts and help move the milk out of the nipple.
One thing that you just don’t think of is wardrobe! I have so many cute dresses that I haven’t worn because I would have to be sitting with the dress up around my neck to pump. It’s awkward enough to be walked in on when you’re pumping, let alone when you’re basically nude. In the beginning, my co-workers didn’t seem to mind — but now I sometimes get a look like I’m going to leisurely relax with my feet kicked up. In reality I’m literally suctioning milk out of my boobs and worrying that I’m not producing enough for the next day.
Get milk moving with a gentle-glide massage. The Frida Mom Milk Flowing Massage stick has a simple, water-based formula infused with Chamomile and Aloe that enables a soothing gentle-glide massage for full breastfeeding boobs. Formulated without parabens, phthalates, or dyes, the simple, water-based formula is dermatologist tested for sensitive skin and is safe for mom + baby.
