A six-page Instagram post by Brooklyn Beckham on Monday night, laying out in excoriating detail his angst against his parents, Sir David and Lady Beckham.
“It’s literally Brooklyn on his Instagram story so I think that’s why it’s become such a major thing because it’s him speaking his own words on his own social media. He’s controlling his own narrative – while accusing his parents of controlling their own narrative through very carefully curated posts.”
Give me, too, his 19 year-old brother grappling his own Deep Grief while sitting A Levels, travelling, leaving home, landing himself a full-time job and paying London rent. He’s a bit rubbish at Instagram but probably a better cook than Brooklyn; in short, he’s navigating the foothills of adulthood.
“I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” Brooklyn Beckham said on Instagram. His parents have not commented on the allegations.
Brooklyn Peltz Beckham shared a lengthy post to his Instagram story, in which he blasted his parents for continuing “to go to the press” over the years, “leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”
